Privacy Policy

• Account data: your email address and, when you sign in with Google, your name and profile identifier provided by Google.
• Listing and report data: the listing URLs you submit, the reports generated from them, and any reports you save to your account.
• Usage data: the number of checks run, credit balance and purchase history needed to operate the paywall.
• Technical data: an anonymised identifier derived from your IP address (used only to enforce the daily free-check limit and for bot protection). Raw IP addresses are not stored for this purpose.
• Feedback: ratings and comments you leave on reports.

• To run listing analyses and generate your reports.
• To manage your account, credits, passes and purchases.
• To protect the service from bots and abuse (Cloudflare Turnstile).
• To respond to support requests sent to [email protected].

Payments are processed by Stripe. AkiyaCheck never sees or stores your card number; we only receive confirmation of a successful payment, the plan purchased and a Stripe reference ID. Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to the data it processes.

• Stripe (payments), Google (sign-in), Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection).
• Public Japanese government data sources (MLIT, GSI) are queried with property locations to build your report; these queries contain no personal data.
• AI models process listing text to extract findings; no account data is sent.

We use browser storage only to keep you signed in and to remember your most recent audit on your own device. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Account and report data is kept while your account is active. You can delete individual saved reports from your dashboard. To delete your account and all associated data, email [email protected] and we will remove it within 30 days, except payment records we must keep for accounting.

You may request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask for corrections, or request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

AkiyaCheck serves international buyers of Japanese property. Your data may be processed in the regions where our infrastructure providers operate. By using the service you consent to this processing.

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will be announced on the site before they take effect.
